● Operationalize the early warning and early response mechanisms
● Raise awareness of safety plans in the community
● Establish and establish peace and development committee, which includes an equal number of men and women.
Strategies
● Introduce and adopt climate-smart agriculture.
● Promote the adoption of environmentally friendly alternative energy, community afforestation through Agro-forestry initiative, and implementation of soil erosion measures.
● Install solar-powered irrigation infrastructure (Desalination Plant).
● Promote water harvesting.
● Provide livelihood support in target communities (e.g. provision of water tanks.
● Through an integrated approach to water management and agriculture, we aim to enhance water access and use in the target communities and increase livelihood sources for community members.
